Use Instructions
Simply wet the lining of the jacket with water and wring it out. You can make it dripping wet or just slightly damp – the level of wetness affects how long the jacket provides the means to absorb and dissipate heat from your dog before needing to be dampened again.
Tip: If you are going out for more than an hour, carry a bottle of water to give your dog a drink as well as to wet the jacket every hour or so. The duration of the dampness of the lining depends on how wet it is, the ambient heat, and humidity. Hot dry conditions will cause it to dry more quickly, but also help the cooling effect.

The Chillybuddy jacket may be machine washed in cold water with ordinary detergent.Tumble or line dry only
The Aluminet outer fabric of the jacket is tough, but items like barbed wire or large branches can snag the jacket. The snags do not run, and any loose strands may be cut safely. Small areas of exposed lining fabric do not diminish the effectiveness of the jacket.Disclaimer
The Chillybuddy jacket is designed only to protect the dog from the influx of solar radiation, and to make the dog more comfortable when out in the sun. Lack of water, overwork, poor health, or weather ’conditions may still cause a dog to become overheated. The dog s handler is responsible for monitoring the dog s condition and protecting the pet from heat exhaustion or other effects of overheating. Please be sure to give your pet plenty of water and avoid overworking them in hot conditions.
